Allah made the believers inherit their homes in this world and they will inherit them in the Hereafter. Those who have taken their abode in this dunya and disbelieved in Allah will have their house destroyed, in the likes of Thamud 1, ‘Aad and Qarun 2. The home of this world will either leave us or we leave it. Say,, “If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is for you alone and not the people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful. That is why Allah challenged them and said: The disbelievers have even said out of mockery that if there would be a home better than what they have now, it would be for them. However, the believers are not deceived as they know that their true home is Paradise. Those who disbelieve in the Hereafter take their homes in this world as the most important properties and assets. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter – that is the life, if only they knew. It is a testing ground to see who truly believes in Allah and worships Him.

As we have seen in the previous post, the life of this world is temporary. As we have seen in the video, the word daar means an abode where one finds convenience and rest temporarily or permanently.
